The exchange4media Group hosted the tenth edition of the Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) in February 2024 at the luxurious Taj Santacruz, Mumbai. The Indian Marketing Awards recognise organisations, people, and teams that have achieved outstanding results via creative marketing methods.

At the glittering awards ceremony, various marketing companies and agencies were recognised for their great work, creativity, and innovation. Amid the flash and glamour, the IMA honoured brands and agencies for excellent work that has inspired marketing professionals.

Harish Bhat, former Brand Custodian of Tata Sons, received the Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony. Britannia Industries Limited bagged the ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ title along with 7 metals – 2 golds, 4 silver and 1 bronze metals – across categories.

The brand also received two gold, four silver, and one bronze metal in various categories for their great effort and innovation. This year’s awards honoured and celebrated remarkable marketing accomplishments in India across four major categories, which were further split into 37 sub-categories.

Other notable brands and agencies that received significant awards were Coca-Cola India Private Limited, UltraTech Cement Limited, EssenceMediacom, PHD Media, and Mindshare India. In terms of metals, Coca-Cola India won six, UltraTech Cement got five, and EssenceMediacom and PHD Media both earned seven. Mindshare India earned six metals in several categories.

HP India received two awards, one gold and one silver, for their exceptional marketing efforts in several categories. The brand received gold for its ‘Consider It Done’ campaign in the ‘Best Use of Digital Marketing/Social Media’ category. The firm created the campaign after understanding the particular demands of Indian business owners and developing a more durable and dependable printer designed for the harsh Indian environment and intense business strain. The ‘Consider It Done’ ad was inspired by Indian SMBs’ ‘can do’ mentality to promote interest in the new HP Smart Tanks among this demographic.

Tata Consumer Products took home five medals, including one gold, one silver, and three bronze. The business received gold for its ‘Tata Tea Premium – ‘Lohri De Tappe’ campaign in the ‘Use of Analytics/Big Data/AI’ category. Tappe are regional folk melodies sung in practically every home to welcome Lohri and celebrate great and little victories alike.
